Professor Disraeli Hutton has made significant contributions to the School of Education Department at the University of the West Indies, Mona, through his dedication to developing advanced educational programs. Between 2011 and 2014, he supervised the development of the Master’s degree program in Educational Policy and Planning, which has garnered university approval, a testament to its quality, and is currently welcoming its first cohort of students. In parallel, he also played a crucial role in establishing the Master’s degree program in Higher Education Management during the same period. This initiative, too, has successfully received university approval, ensuring the high standard of education it offers to eager learners.
 

His commitment to enhancing education doesn't stop there; Professor Hutton is currently supervising the development of the Master’s degree program in Educational Leadership and Management, which is designed to [specific details about the program]. The program is progressing through the university's approval process. Likewise, he is actively leading the review of the Master's in Educational Administration, with plans for it to undergo further examination by the Faculty Committee of the Faculty of Humanities and Education.

In addition to these ongoing initiatives, Professor Hutton was a valuable member of the team that developed the Master’s degree program in Technical Vocational and Education and Training (TVET) and its corresponding PhD program between 2007 and 2009. This work helped pave the way for a more specialized education in these critical fields, benefiting [number of students]. He also took the initiative to revise the Principals Diploma for secondary school principals, which has since been upgraded to a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (Educational Administration) during 2007 and 2008, benefiting [number of students].
